Hoffa: Employee Free Choice Act would mean twice as many Teamsters

In a press release announcing the opening of the 2007 Unity Conference, Teamster President James P. Hoffa makes no mention of strengthening the middle class or protecting employee rights. There's no attempt to explain why card-check would be good labor policy.   Instead, he gives the most honest answer yet of any labor leader as to why the Employee Free Choice Act is a union priority:

If EFCA were signed into law, Hoffa believes, Teamsters could double the size of the union.
